Meet Jonny Pickleball

Jonny Andrews, more known as the one and only “Jonny Pickleball” grew up traveling and competing in multiple sports and would tell you he played every sport that required him to be 6ft 8. While attending Florida Gulf Coast University he made the decision to join the United States Army during a time of war.  He was in the service as a combat Arms Cavalry Scout stationed at Fort Benning, Ga.  After deploying he ended his time of service returning to Florida where He found Pickleball in 2015 and never looked back.

Jonny Pickleball has worn many hats throughout the years and has had his hands on all aspects of Pickleball. Jonny has never known a stranger and has helped grow the sport along with many other great people. He is the original showman and always adds an extra layer of excitement wherever he plays or competes. Jonny created  his Jonny Pickleball Show giving the sport a look at pickleball entertainment and what it could be.  He created a podcast called the Around the Post Show which spoke on all pickleball topics without limits, and has even more recently created a new podcast call Pickleball Tonight! He also has written instructional and coaching curriculum for many pickleball organizations throughout his career to include all the curriculum for the PPA Tour Camps. Jonny has coached professional players from all over the world. Jonny has also won multiple pro medals thus far, and continues to compete in tournaments all over the world. Jonny works with many veteran organizations to help pickleball be an outlet for those transitioning back to civilian life, and is still one of the rare professional players that will take on anyone in open play anywhere.
